## Watch the 30-second workflow

[Watch the silent scorecard animation](https://covisionperformance.com/visuals/scorecard-workflow-v1.mp4). This is an illustrative workflow.

A measure needs attention. Start with the person who owns it. Review client renewals with the account team lead: two renewals need attention. Agree to review those accounts with their owners, with a check-in at Friday's leadership review. Name the task, its owner, and a date, then review the measure again after the work. Choose measures and targets that fit your business.

## Start with the decision each measure informs

Pick a small set of measures that fit your goals. Give each one a source and an owner, then record the next action when the review identifies something that needs attention.

| Measure | Owner | Target | Actual | Next action |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Client renewals reviewed | Account lead | Choose a target | Record actual | Assign a follow-up |
| Proposals followed up | Sales lead | Choose a target | Record actual | Review stalled proposals |
| Priority tasks completed | Operations lead | Choose a target | Record actual | Discuss the blocker |
| Invoices needing attention | Finance lead | Choose a target | Record actual | Review payment status |
| Your measure | Named owner | Your target | This week's actual | Owner and due date |

Example structure. Replace the measures and targets with your own. The downloadable file includes source, status, next-action owner, and due-date columns as well.

## Use it in your next weekly review

1. Agree on what each measure means and where its data comes from.
2. Assign an owner who can explain the number and the change since last week.
3. Record the actual result alongside the target. Keep potential sales separate from earned revenue.
4. Choose the next action, name its owner, and agree on a due date.
5. Review the action and the measure again the following week.
